"Modern Jive" was brought to the South East of Ireland by Lekan Akinyemi
in 2003, this unique dancestyle has swept across Wexford, Kilkenny and
Waterford.
A talented dancer, D.J. and musician in his own right, with a Batchelor
of Arts (Performing Arts) University of Ilorin in his native Nigeria,
Lekan has been adding colour and diversity to Modern Jive, coaching and
choreographing dance routines for a wide variety of festivals and events.
